Day One/Arrival:
Day Two:
Meeting the chief and getting to tour the village of Mpisi:
Visiting the local school, Chamabondo. Brayden got to teach a bunch of the kids how to play lacrosse and they just loved Brookie:
Helicopter ride over Victoria Falls. It was breathtaking to see the falls and all the gorges from above:
Day Three:
Sylvester the Cheetah…this experience was like nothing we’ve ever dreamed of:
Two of the most terrifying things we have done on this trip…so far;). The boys ziplined 1,400 feet across a gorge at 86 miles per hour and Brooke and Mamma got pushed off the edge of a platform for a 230 foot free fall gorge swing. We’re still recovering. Check out Brad’s video to see the process in action (Zipline and Gorge Swing Video):
Soothing our nerves watching the sunset, overlooking another gorge behind The Elephant Camp:
Prepping for our elephant ride:
Riding elephants at The Elephant Camp:
Saying good-bye to our guide, Mark:
I’m amazed! This experience looks so wonderful. Miss you guys
