The kids are having so much fun and doing such a great job blogging about their experiences, so thought we would continue to add a little color to their words through photos. We are clearly taking a ton of pics, so scroll as fast or slow as you like. Our photo posts are more like Sunday afternoon glimpses, not ideal for Monday morning viewings (especially for those at Freedom or Bills:). So, enjoy and be with us through this journey through our lense…
Gorgeous sunshine shots…thank you, Pappa for getting up so early to capture this beauty…
Moonrise, they call this a Blue Moon (2 full moons in one month)…spectacular
Less than perfect surf (pay no attention the size of the waves…it’s all about effort, right?), but perfect beach, perfect day and so much fun! We (actually our incredible guide and friend, Pedro) got carried away (in the best way) with photos…and actually already deleted a bunch…sorry, Pedro:).
Scroll fast…there are a lot of photos here…
Everybody’s goin’ surfin’, surfin’ Australia…
Learning our safety signals, doing a little stretching and maybe a little pushing and shoving…sorry, Pappa…
Brooke mastered surfing from the moment she got up.
Sweet rides, Red…along with some fantastic spills…
Learning about the currents and tides from Popeye…
Pappa is working really hard…Yeah, Pappa!
Go, Mamma, Go…
Biggee…You, the man! Rad first time out!
The dynamic duo…
Exhausted, but so much fun…
Gorgeous morning on the Lighthouse Hike…
Yet another moonlit night…
G’Day, Mr. Wallaby
Mamma and Biggee…
See you in Papua New Guinea…
Really enjoying your blogs and especially the pics. Looks like you guys are having great fun and learning a lot along the way!!
Brandy, I especially liked your packing +notes!! Then I checked out what we took last month for a 3 day getaway to Ft. Lauderdale and Linda had 95% of what you guys are taking for 6 months–she may have even had some of the Antarctica clothing too:)
Keep the blogs and pics coming. We feel like we’re right there with you and enjoying every minute!!
Uncle Denny
The spirit and happiness in your pictures and posts make me smile and share your enthusiasm right along with you. And Brandy, what a perfect way to spend your birthday. Stay safe and well. You are one of the best things that has ever happened in my life. We love you and your incredible family. Mom
Happy belated birthday, Brandy!! I can’t imagine a more exciting way to celebrate than a trip around the world!
The kids and I have been reading every word of the blog entries, and we’ve looked through the photos (gorgeous, I should add) many times. I think the Clevenger kids are very jealous of all of your excursions. We all can’t wait to see more!
I love and miss you! Hugs to all!!
Hi Anna! Brandy’s bday was awesome. I have a pretty fun video I’ll try to post now that we are back in Port Moresby (not quite civilation, yet) and have wifi.
