Hard to believe we are already leaving today. We’ve had an amazing week here, but all good things must come to an end. We all agree that we would like to come back here someday soon and thought it might even be fun to spend an extended period of time here, maybe rent a little apartment in the Finger Wharfs area in The Rocks. There is something so soothing and relaxing about being on the water, falling asleep to the rhythm of lapping waves and waking to the sunshine glistening on the ripples…or in our case, the moonshine glistening on the ripples (jet lag is certainly getting the best of all of us, so you’ll see some very early tea and breakfast photos!) So, so long Sydney…off to Byron Bay where we will sea kayak with the dolphins and take our first surf lesson of the trip.
Here are some pics to tide you over (yes, we are speaking directly to you, Nania))…
Behind the scenes at the Sydney Opera House. We learned about theater production, backstage, the ‘wings’, acoustics, opera, symphonies and architecture. Really fun and unique experience.
Beaches are everywhere; this is surfing Mecca Bondi beach. Huge waves and amazing street art!
