Brandy surprised all of us this morning in Cambodia when we boarded a river boat to go an hour up the Mekong river to a Buddhist monastery on Silk Island, on the outskirts of Phnom Penh.
It was one of the hottest days we’ve ever experienced, which just added to the dream-like experience of having our love and marriage ceremonially blessed at a monastery on our 13th anniversary.
A beautiful day that none of us will soon forget, after 13 years of little daily miracles living with someone you love even more each and every day. Here’s a video of the ceremony and some photos from the day.
How beautiful is that? I can only wish we would have all been there to share the day with you…the video didn’t set up yet, but I can’t wait to view it. It looks like an unbelievably memorable day! ‘Couldn’t be happier for you!
Love, Mom
Happy 13th Anniversary. The ceremonial blessing looked really nice.
This is so cool you guys! Even if you had popcorn thrown at your hair. What a beautiful thing to experience together. Happy Anniversary!
Love,
Laura
Ummm flowers! Brayden said afterwards that at first he thought it was Cheerios, and he was gonna be out of there. Give bob a blessing from me from a far.
How amazing. And I love how Brad colored his beard lighter for the ceremony:). Did you ever imagine you would be sharing your 13th anniversary in such an exotic location with your wonderful children? You are all truly blessed.
this is beautiful – brad may need to shave 🙂 we miss you guys
Congrats on 13 years! Digging the beard
Dear Brad,
I am Mike from Ansova Travel – we were with Small World to organize the trip for your family in Cambodia last year (August 23-30, 2015). I am so happy to know that was “A beautiful day that none of us will soon forget”. Thank you for sharing the experience on your blog.
And It’s wonderful to see Cambodia listed in Charitable Foundations – Stroh Family Foundation!
Kind regards,
Mike
Thanks for the kind note Mike. We loved Cambodia, and our new Cambodian friends! Good luck and thanks for a wonderful experience.
Brad,
Lovely to hear back from you!
Is that possible if I could share the blog posts on my Facebook? Please advise!
Thank you
Mike
Sure thing Mike. Good luck with your business and thanks for all that you and your team did for our family’s trip!
Many thanks Brad. All the best for your family!
